Masks optional Indoors
Dear Southland Family, As we continue into this new 2022 year, we pray that all those in our church family and communities who were affected by the recent Covid surge are fully recovered and staying healthy. We are so thankful for all the love and family care through cell groups and also excited to see so many brothers and sisters growing together through EG discipleship this season! As cases across CA continue to decline and masking guidelines are updated statewide and across school districts, we also wanted to share a few updates with our church family: Beginning this Friday, Feb. 18, masking will be optional inside both the Education and Main Sanctuary buildings on church campus. We will also offer live streaming options for all 3 services (8:45AM, 11:00AM and 1:15PM) for the next few weeks as we continue to monitor changing guidelines within Orange County and the state. We are praying to transition back to being fully on campus starting on Easter Sunday, 4/17. We continue to encourage everyone: If you or a member of your family are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, or, if you or anyone that you have been in direct contact with, has tested positive for COVID-19, or if you or anyone in your family, is awaiting Covid-19 test results, We respectfully ask that you stay home and participate in worship online to reduce community exposure. Please contact our church office right away to let us know, since immediate communication will help us to assess any potential impact on the Church of Southland community and church family. As always, if you have any questions, please email the church at [email protected] We continue to be grateful in this 2022 year for God's daily presence and may we seek Him and His righteousness. May God's Holy Spirit presence continue to fill us and our homes as we strive to be the salt and light for Jesus in our Southland communities! Sanctuary Building: Masks will be HIGHLY RECOMMENDED while inside the building, for both vaccinated and unvaccinated. We thank you always for your continued support, patience and understanding as we navigate the continuing Covid-related changes as a church family.
