Primary Areas of Development

Spiritual Development: Interns will deepen their understanding of following Christ, emphasizing the centrality of Christ in all ministry endeavors. Through prayer, Scripture study, and daily life integration, interns will learn to pursue God and become attuned to His voice and presence.

Personal Growth: The program encourages personal transformation by challenging interns in areas such as relationships, finances, time management, communication, and abilities. Interns will be guided to identify and address areas where God is calling them to grow.

Leadership Training: COS aims to nurture interns as leaders by providing opportunities to take on responsibilities within their ministry areas. Training includes conflict management and resolution, team building and leadership, program management, special event planning, and effective communication of vision and purpose.

Ministry Experience: Interns will gain practical experience in church and departmental ministry by participating in staff meetings and ministry-specific activities. They will learn to shepherd people, lead volunteers, and navigate the operational aspects of ministry, all while serving with humility.
