Operations VOLUNTEER INTEREST

Operations is vital to our church campus activities. Volunteer in one of our service ministries and facilitate services, events, and more. We encourage newer members and attenders to consider joining an operations ministry.

Description:
Welcoming Ministry is for anyone excited about meeting and welcoming all church attendees and helping them to get plugged in and make COS home.  Our volunteers should embody the Spirit of Christ as we serve.

Commitment:
1 hour a week, Month-based rotations

Requirements:
6 months regular attendance

Description:
Welcome those who come to worship! Looking for friendly and inviting people. You will help attendees find a seat during service and assist in facilitating the offering time. When you serve, you will attend one service and serve in the other.

Description:
The Translation Ministry Team is currently seeking fluent Chinese, Korean, and Spanish language speakers to help translate our worship services. If you would love to serve and make God's Word and the heart of His message accessible to those that may have some language barriers, please join our team! More details will be shared, but please know that you will receive the sermon notes in advance so you won't be translating everything on the fly.

Commitment:
1 Year commitment - Translate 1 service time on Sundays as needed

Description:
Serving at The Spot Cafe is a great opportunity for you to learn how to make coffee the right way and enjoy serving to our COS customers.  You will be required to go through The Spot training course by observation and hands-on experience.  This is the most exciting opportunity on COS campus! Most times we do not have available positions so take the opportunity now to get in!

Commitment:
1 hour a week, month-based rotations

Requirements:
No requirements needed just someone who is willing to work with others and ability to be friendly with all COS customers.  We do need your availability on shifts after first or second service depending on when you are scheduled.

Description:
In the food ministry you can provide food to the teachers, volunteers, children, and adults of Southland while having fellowship with its members and learning valuable skills and recipes. We prepare the food and bring it out for Cell Leaders meetings, teacher's' appreciations, and much more! You will prepare the food the day before and event and do a deep clean after the event.

Commitment:
3 hours a week, month-based rotations

Description:
Our church hosts seasonal events for the entire church. If you enjoy executing events, this is the place for you!

Commitment:
Seasonal/event-based commitment with varying time commitments

Requirements:
6 months regular attendance

Description:
We are drivers and mechanics! We drive our church transportation buses and vans to college campuses to pick up and drop off students so that they may attend our Sunday worship services. Maintenance and car washing is a seasonal responsibility as well. Class-B Driver's License is highly preferred.

Commitment:
4 hours a week, seasonal needs
