Short-Term Trips for 2026

PHASE 1 (EARLY 2026):
  • Coban, Guatemala (March 21- March 28)
  • Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (March 27 - April 3)
  • Tokyo, Japan (April 7 - April 20)
  • Jakarta, Indonesia (April 8 - April 20)

PHASE 2 (MID-2026):
  • Hai Phong, Vietnam (May 8 - May 18)
  • Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (June 1 - June 13)
  • Coban, Guatemala (June 15 - June 29)
  • Arizona, US (July 1 - July 11 or 12 after service)

PHASE 3 (LATE 2026):
  • Coban, Guatemala (October 31 - November 7)

EXPECTATIONS

All team members are expected to:

  • Attend both mandatory large group training meetings on Saturdays 1/24 & 1/31 (1­–5 PM)
  • Attend weekly planning meetings with your team
  • Attend Friday Night Praise & Prayer every week
  • Serve at Awana and Food Pantry with your team
  • Fundraising & self-contribution are required

Absences may be allowed due to a true emergency.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must be a member of Church of Southland who continuously fulfills the following criteria:

  • Actively attending regular Sunday Worship for at least one year
  • Completed Experiencing God discipleship or currently enrolled for the first time in January 2026
  • Attended Encounter Retreat at Church of Southland
  • Attending cell group & tithing regularly and consistently

* College Students are exempt from Experiencing God, Encounter, and tithing requirements. However, a reference from our college pastor is required.
